Miilu holiday home is located in a stunning natural setting, in the village of Jyrkkä, Sonkajärvi, North Savo, where you can still experience all four seasons and find activities for everyone to enjoy. The grassy plot offers a wonderful view of Lake Kiltuanjärvi, and the surrounding area provides excellent opportunities for hiking, canoeing, rafting, fishing, berry picking, and hunting.

The charming and historic Jyrkän Ruukki old ironworks area is just 500 meters away, featuring a restaurant, café, museum, and summer theatre (open 1 May–30 September). The owner also offers additional services, including guided hunting, fishing, hiking, camping trips, and equipment rentals.

From the cottage, you can set off directly onto well-marked hiking trails, paddle across the lake, or even try rafting adventures. Several campfire sites are located near the cottage—perfect for spending relaxing evenings surrounded by pure nature and beautiful scenery. Whether you’re planning a short stay or a longer holiday, Malmi is the perfect choice.

The Miilu and Hiili holiday homes are identical in floor plan, furnishings, and equipment. The only difference is in the colours of the interiors and fabrics.
