Tepi's memories recount the golden era of Grand Prix motorcycle racing when the riders' lives were truly on the line during races.

Teuvo "Tepi" Länsivuori (born December 9, 1945, in Iisalmi) is a Finnish former motorcycle racer. Rising from Iisalmi to become a factory rider for Yamaha and Suzuki, Teuvo Länsivuori was one of the brightest stars of his time in the Grand Prix motorcycle racing series. Tepi, who achieved four World Championship medals, reached the pinnacle at a time when the sport was more dangerous than ever, with bikes reaching top speeds, yet track safety falling far short of today's standards.

During his career, Länsivuori participated in 74 World Championship races, winning 8 of them. Additionally, he secured three silver medals (in the 350cc and 250cc categories in 1973, and in the 500cc category in 1976) and one bronze medal (in the 500cc category in 1974). In 2006, Länsivuori won the UEM Vintage Road Racing Cup in the 500cc class, claiming the European Championship title. In 2006, Länsivuori won the UEM Vintage Road Racing Cup 500cc class European Championship. In 2007, he competed in the Ducati Cup race at Botniaring. Länsivuori's most recent race was in the 2019 Imatranajot, where he raced in the ICGP class with a 250cc Yamaha.

Internationally renowned and beloved, Teuvo Länsivuori actively participates in demonstration races even at nearly 80 years old, in events such as the Imatra Grand Prix and the Pyynikki Circuit races in Finland, as well as abroad in Italy, the Netherlands, and France. Länsivuori's enduring speed is supported by long-standing sponsor, Olvi Brewery from Iisalmi.

Olvi is also the main partner for the new exhibition, together with the city of Iisalmi and the Iisalmi-based company KELE Design Oy.

The new, stunning exhibition space is free for the public.
